Random

Just some random updates on the fam...
Cameryn is doing really well. She is totally potty trained which is AWESOME. She is so proud and will show anyone (and I do mean ANYONE) her 'big girl panties.' Jimmy is trying desperately to break her of that habit. He is so funny with her. I mean, she is only 2, but he still will tell me if he thinks her shorts are too short or why he thinks she shouldn't wear a belly shirt. And god forbid if I put her in a bikini! Her teenage years should be fun... Reid is continuing to grow. He's almost 7 months old and weighs almost 13 pounds. He rolls his way across the floor and smiles and laughs a lot. I imagine he'll be sitting up and crawling before too much longer. As for me, I'm back in the gym trying to get my butt back in shape. I haven't played soccer in so many years, but there is still that athletic part of me that can't stand when I gain a few extra pounds.
And Jimmy, well he's predictable at this time of year...it's all about gearing up for the Mets! If I hear, "this year is going to be different" one more time, I think I'll puke. I've only heard it for the last 8 years.

Big Frank is Looking Slim...

Frank had his annual check up at the vet last week. We found out that his diet has been working! Over the last two years he has lost 22 pounds - he now weighs in at a svelte 81 pounds! Here is pic I took of the big guy last night. By the way, he is now 6 years old. The vet said we probably added a good 2-3 years on to his life just by helping him drop the extra weight. For those of you who have not met Frank the Tank, he is an Olde English Bulldog and is an absolute teddy bear with people. He can however be very picky about who he likes in terms of his canine companions (read: he'll try to eat any dog who tries to show dominance over him). I also took a pic of 'Crazy Lou' 'cause I can't brag on just one of my dogs :-) Louey is now 3 years old and is a 64 pound Boxer/Bulldog mix. He loves other dogs, but is a nervous nelly around people. What a pair he and Frank make! And lastly, I took some silly pics of me and the kids - enjoy!

Cameryn's Trip to Build-A-Bear

Cameryn had her first experience at Build-A-Bear over the holidays. Nonna and Aunt Janine decided it would be fun for her and boy were they right! We all headed over to the Mall of GA on the 28th of December and had a blast! Cousin Ty made a Husky named Dakota and Cameryn picked out a Hello Kitty that she name Heart. Here are a few pics from our trip...thank you Nonna!

Ummm, is it really January 21st?

I can't believe that I have let a whole month (almost) go bye without posting Christmas pics!!! Ugghhh...I swear I have NO time anymore. My dad has started working part-time, so it's mostly just me and Reid and work....and no, he doesn't pitch in and help a whole lot :-) I have our annual six audits tomorrow, so I have up to my eyeballs in paperwork trying to prepare!
O.k, o.k enough excuses...here are a few adorable pics from Christmas. I think the look on Cameryn's face says it all! I've also included (as usual) some random miscellaneous pics...
Oh, and Jimmy and I finally got a new digital camera! I decided it was time considering that when I shook our old one I could hear little pieces rattling around inside...seriously. Hopefully I can figure out how to take some short videos and post them on here too...stay tuned!

Good Riddance 2008!

Reid was of course a wonderful gift from the year 2008...but boy am I glad to put the year behind us! It has been a VERY emotional and stressful year on so many different levels! I'll never forget it and I think in the long run I'll realize that it has made me a stronger and better person. I'm really looking forward to a happy and HEALTHY 2009! Recap: Jan. '08 -- Whoops! I found out I was pregnant - definitely wasn't expecting that one! Feb. '08 -- Double whoops! We found out we were having twins! Mar. - May '08 -- Jimmy gets shuffled around with his former employer to like three different locations. June 14 '08 -- Jimmy gets laid off. June 18 '08 -- I am put on bed rest due to my water breaking WAY too early. I spent the next 21 days in bed at Emory Eastside. July 10 '08 -- Reid and Jameson are born 3 months premature. Jameson passes away. July 10 - Sept. 4 '08 -- Reid is in the NICU at Emory Eastside. Aug. '08 -- Jimmy gets a job with Builders First Source. Sept. 4 '08 -- REID COMES HOME after 56 days in the NICU. The rest of the year was pretty uneventful; just stressful as we had to adjust to having a preemie at home with us! I was so happy when we finally got rid of the supplemental oxygen, pulse ox and heart monitor! The year ended on a sad note -- my grandmother (Ruth Morgan Noyes) passed away on the 28th of December. I do know that she is no longer in pain and was with all the people she loved when she died - so I guess, that is the silver lining.
